Every Compilator signal is built from one atom: a soft click with a short tone. Signals differ in rhythm, pitch and timbre, and still sound like one system.
This page plays sound through the same engine that will ship in the app. What you hear here is what you will hear in the product.
Each square of the mark lands with its own click, placed in stereo where it sits on screen. A short breath of noise, then a high hit: the bottom-right square turns lime and a soft A–E fifth opens up.
Tap a tile to hear the signal. Each one shows its score in pixels: rows are pitch, columns are 62.5 ms grid steps, the dithered tail is the tone fading out.
Search runs as long as it needs to: one wave per second, each a little further right in stereo. When the host answers, the handshake takes the place of the next wave. The echo comes back and locks on.
Build any new signal by the same rules and it will stay part of the system.
One click is a step. Two is a result. A run is a process or a finish.
A6 for results, A5 for process, A3–E4 for problems and state changes.
Up: something appeared. Down: something left or failed.
Sine for the system. Square wave when a human is needed.
No reverb. A soft bloom only for the logo and connection.
